Virginian Steak House. 620
First Colonial Road. 757-428-8511. Food-3. Service-3. Atmosphere-3.
Spaghetti, Steaks and Seafood. Not spectacular, but good basic fair. Big
portions. Nice place for lunch. The Greek salad and club sandwich are
probably the best in the area. For $9 or $10 you can get just about any
entree that fits your mood… a good filling meal with all the extras.
Lunch prices are a couple of dollars less. Appetizers and sandwiches are
about $5. The decor is Greek murals with booths on the side and tables in
the middle. There is a sunroom but your view is 1st Colonial Road and it
tends to get hot in the summer. Plenty of parking and no reservations
needed. June 07

Excellent wait service, including a visit from the owner, who had
already sent complimentary shrimp cocktail to the table.
Well-stocked bar with a good wine list and selection of bottled beers.
Dinner only, but has a Sunday Noon brunch. No reservations. The
pictures on the walls give a little bit of the restaurant's history,
as well as the city's. Quiet and elegant. City garage parking next
